During the drive, 100 saplings were planted across the campus, each symbolising gratitude, love, and responsibility. On World Youth Skills Day, CEC trainees took centre stage, leading initiatives in four local schools aligned with the theme “Youth Empowerment through AI and Digital Skills.” From conducting live skill demos in electronics, grooming, banking and digital literacy to hosting career talks and workshops, the trainees became mentors and role models for younger students. A standout moment was the symbolic appointment of Mr. Meer Mohamad, a former CEC trainee and now a school headmaster, as Centre Head for the Day, a powerful testament to how training can evolve into leadership.

Meanwhile, the Beautician Batch Passing Out Ceremony marked a significant milestone for rural women enrolled in Cairn’s village-based training programme. With limited access to formal centres, this two-month course was designed to reach women at their doorstep, equipping them with hands-on beauty and grooming skills. Among the success stories was Ms. Divya, who launched the first beauty parlour in her remote Barmer village, creating not only a livelihood for herself but a much-needed service in the community. The event was attended by Mr. Abhishek Singh, CEO of Learnet Skills and Ms. Shweta Singh from Cairn HR, who lauded the initiative’s tangible outcomes.

These events exemplify Cairn’s vision of building a self-reliant India through skills, opportunity, and empowerment. The camp’s multidisciplinary format provided students with immersive sessions in bamboo craft, art & craft, Satriya dance and poem recitation, activities that not only honed creative and communication skills but also helped students reconnect with Assam’s vibrant heritage. These workshops bridged modern skill-building with age-old traditions, empowering children with both practical tools and cultural pride. The inclusion of Satriya dance, a classical art form of Assam, brought a unique cultural depth to the camp, encouraging students to embrace and preserve their regional identity.

By integrating creative learning with cultural relevance, Rudra 1’s initiative demonstrated how grassroots education programs can have lasting impact. Each camp offered a robust spectrum of specialist consultations across disciplines including Orthopaedics, Gynaecology, Dermatology, Ophthalmology and General Medicine. Equipped with skilled doctors and essential diagnostic tools, the MHVs functioned as mobile clinics bringing not just treatment, but hope and dignity to communities often overlooked by mainstream healthcare systems. For many patients, it was their first opportunity to consult with a specialist without the financial and logistical barriers of travel.

The success of these camps is a reflection of Cairn’s community-first philosophy, one that prioritizes not only infrastructure and industry, but the health and well-being of people who are foundational to regional development. The MHV initiative demonstrates that with the right partnerships and purpose, equitable healthcare can be more than an aspiration, it can be a mobile reality, capable of reaching the last mile.

Riding this wave of purpose, CEC students introduced the 5S system on campus beginning with “Sort”- organizing scrap under expert supervision and setting the stage for a cleaner learning space.
